Y10 work experience

Managing to get most of the littles dears out next week - realised this year why it is so much harder (not just because I reached my 53rd birthday!). I now have 240 to place, when I used to have less than 180 - so more to cause problems - to say nothing of changing economic climate!!!

Why do I only find time to do this during holidays?

Spent most of the hols marking the whole of Year 11's citizenship coursework - one or two brilliant pieces, but lots of poor attempts - starting to get depressed about prospects for this year's results.

Teacher's weekend

Just spent a couple of hours marking Y10 books - wouldn't it be nice to be paid by the hour!!
